Happy Earth Day!

I look forward to being able to travel and explore the natural beauty of the planet again. Nature is my happy place. While many of these current restrictions are a bit annoying or feel like an inconvenience (some are an actual overreach of power and control but that’s a topic for another day lol), one positive thing is that this time of slowing down has given the Earth time to heal and hopefully given us all a chance to reflect on how we are living and if there are ways we could all work to live more in harmony with Mother Nature, instead of plundering, polluting, and exerting our will over it.

Earth can and will survive just fine without humans, but humans cannot survive without the Earth. So in our impatience and rush to get back to “normal” life, let’s all maybe try to be mindful and conscious of our ways and actions and work to balance our needs with respect for the planet and its beauty, power, and resources.
